The company, formally known as the Visionary Investment Group (VIG), was founded in 2012 as a real estate development, investment and lifestyle services group.

Visionary is the parent company of:

• Visionary – a boutique Australian property developer, which shares the same name as its parent company. It has generated a residential portfolio of four sites, totalling approximately 1,500 dwellings, with a gross development value of c.$2 billion.
• SR Capital – an Australian real estate fund and investment platform, which has more than $150m under management across seven active funds. Since establishing in 2014, it has already divested two funds that held eight prime, Sydney CBD office buildings worth a combined current asset value exceeding c.$1billion.
• Silkari – a multi-tiered consumer brand encompassing real estate – hotel and residences – and lifestyle management services.
• The Property Gallery – a real estate agency and management company that specifically markets and manages Silkari residences.
